[FIN] Kuralan Kylämäki (ruots. Kurala bybacke) on Turun kaupungin omistama museo- ja kulttuurivirkistysalue, jossa ylläpidetään 1940–1950 -lukujen mukaista maalaismiljöötä rakennuksineen, puutarhoineen, niittyineen ja peltoineen. Alueelle tuli sähköistys 1920-luvulla. Tuolloin on ilmeisesti rakennettu tämä muuntamorakennus. Kylämäen muuntamo on edelleen käytössä. Rakennus on varsin hyvässä kunnossa.
[EN] Kurala Kylämäki (Swedish: Kurala bybacke) is a museum and cultural recreation area owned by the City of Turku, which maintains a rural setting with buildings, gardens, meadows and fields in the 1940s and 1950s. Electrification came to the area in the 1920s. At that time, this transformer building was apparently built. The village transformer is still in use. The building is in quite good condition. It represents typical Finnish rural transformer construction. Similar wood-clad transformers can still be found in many places in Finland.
Here's a specialty of a high-flying birdhouse!
