This was placed by the city of East Wenatchee in celebration of the State's Centennial, on November 11, 1988. It will be opened November 11, 2088.
I was part of the ceremony, because I was in the Wenatchee Valley Children's Choir, who performed at the celebration. I think I put something in the capsule, but I was younger and I don't remember. I won't be alive when it is opened, so I will never know.
This is a nice little pocket park between Fred Meyer and Top Foods. Worth the visit, and it has a great view of the Columbia River.
