The viewpoint is located on U.S. Hwy. 101 at the northend of the new Cook’s Chasm Bridge (2003). The original bridge was built in 1932. There are four information signs at the viewpoint: Bridging the Gaps (history), This Place is for the Birds! (biology), Showtime at the Spouting Horn (geology), and a plaque from original Cook’s Chasm Bridge. There is a second viewing platform at the south end of the bridge. The two viewing platforms provide view of the bridge, Cook’s Chasm, and the Spouting Horn. There is also a trail which leads to a lower viewpoint for a closer view of the Spouting Horn.
