Skaten is en blijft een populaire sport onder jongeren. In samenspraak met de jeugd in de wijk werd de oude skatebaan de Laar gerenoveerd tot een uitdagende skateplek. Sportbedrijf Arnhem is verantwoordelijk voor de realisatie van de skatebaan. Het bedrijf is een zelfstandig functionerende afdeling van de gemeente en verantwoordelijk voor het sportbeleid binnen Arnhem.
Skating is and remains a popular sport among young people. In consultation with the youth in the neighborhood, the old skate track De Laar was renovated into a challenging skate spot. Sports company Arnhem is responsible for the realization of the skate track. The company is an independently functioning department of the municipality and responsible for sports policy within Arnhem.
