The pair of head-to-head basketball courts at Roosevelt Park in Blackstone, Massachusetts, run northwest to southeast. Their asphalt playing surface is in decent condition and shows only minor cracks. White boundary lines are intact, yet faded. All four plexiglass backboards are square, scratched up, and unbroken. Each rim has a nylon net. One aluminum bench was set beside the river's berm along the north boundary line. Bring insect repellent during warm weather -- bugs were irritating after a while.

A sign of the times: As of the day of my visit and this write-up (23 September 2021), coronavirus concerns continue to drag on past the 18-month mark. Posted at two court-side street lamp locations are COVID-19 pandemic safety guidelines. They read:
