FR Les boites à lire, ce sont ces étagères en libre-service accessibles à tous où l’on dépose des livres que l'on ne souhaite par garder pour en prendre d’autres. Mais celle installée par un habitant du hameau des Baux, sur la commune de Bédoin, est plus qu’impressionnante avec ses cinq mille livres !
Une veritable bibliothèque en libre service tout à fait impressionnante dans ce petit hameau
Sur le thème du partage, de l'échange et de la gratuité, Paul Clop, amoureux des livres et par ailleurs apiculteur, a décidé de se lancer à son tour. Il a choisi d’installer une première série d’étagères sous le grand porche de sa maison, puis est allé très vite. "Il y a trois ans, j’étais en Lozère en vacances, il y avait une petite bibliothèque et il y a longtemps que je comptais faire de même. Donc en rentrant, j'ai commencé à installer quelques étagères", raconte-t-il.
Et il ne manque pas d'ouvrages à placer sur ses étagères. "J’avais beaucoup de livres. J'en ai encore au grenier et aussi chez ma mère à Bédoin. Quand on les a lu une fois, deux fois, je me dis que ce serait bien d'en faire profiter tout le monde. Puis on m'en a apporté pas mal... Et il y a aussi les gens qui veulent finir leur collection : ils viennent en chercher, puis ils me rapportent leurs doubles. C'est comme ça que ça s’est fait progressivement."
Un va-et-vient incessant autour du succès de cette boîte à lire très fournie "Il y a une dame aussi dont la fille a une librairie. De temps en temps, elle nettoie sa librairie et elle m'en porte. Et maintenant il y a plein de personnes qui viennent chercher, qui en déposent... le roulement se fait comme ça", détaille Paul Clop.
"Alors au début, j'avais commencé à les classer, mais maintenant, comme les gens en déposent tout le temps, je n'ai pas trop le temps de les classer. Quand j’en trouve et que je sais où ils vont, je les classe. Là on m’en a apporté deux cartons, je les ai classés un peu n’ importe où parce qu’il faut avoir de la place. Parfois dans la journée, il en part cent ou cent cinquante."

A constant back and forth around the success of this extensive reading box "There is a lady also whose daughter has a bookstore. Every once in a while she cleans her bookstore and carries me to me. “So at first I started to classify them, but now, as people drop them all the time, I don't have much time to classify them. When I find some and know where they're going, I classify them.
