Insect Adventure is the only live bug petting zoo in the state. It is a must-stop for families visiting the area. The entry fee is $3 person, and reservations for large groups and birthday parties are available.
Visitors will see hundreds of bugs at the zoo, including live ones that you can pet or let them walk on you (if you are brave enough). Dr. Andrine A. Shufran does a remarkable job explaining entomology and describing the insects' life and habits, and getting kids interested in insects.
