"Sir Lewis Bagot, knight, was the son of John Bagot, esq, and Isabella, the daughter of John Curson (or Curzon) of Essex.
He was knighted on 14 November 1501 at the marriage of Prince Arthur to Catherine of Aragon.
He married five times.
