The sight is visited by local rail fans and photographers. There is an access to the location via Bird Eye Road which can be rough and follows the side of tracks. Track side and elevated vantage points can be reached from the parking near the Bennington Cemetery. The Bennington Curve is the sight of a terrible train wreck that happened in 1947 when the line was owned by the PRR.
