A 20th century wooden pulpit in St Giles' church, Marston Montgomery.

A square box pulpit to the left of the chancel arch. Carved from oak (?) in the early 20th century. A plaque near the pulpit tells us:

CARVED BY
ALICE SARAH WEBB
OF CLOWNHOLME
WHO DIED
DEC 30th 1930.


The front panel is carved in high relief with two figures. On the left a female figure [St Mary?], and the right hand figure of St Giles - depicted as an old man with a deer.
