Baptism font inside Hammarlöv church, Hammarlöv
The baptismal font, which is the same age as the church, was probably made by the so-called Oxie Master, who was a student of
Mårten Stenmästare.
The baptismal font includes a baptismal font of brass that was probably made in Holland at the end of the 16th century and was purchased for
the church in 1668. The picture in the middle shows two of the scouts who were sent out by Moses to explore the land of Canaan, and who
returned with a magnificent bunch of grapes, carried on a pole as proof of the fertility of the new country.
