This BSA Statue of Liberty is located in Washington Square bordered on the north by West 7th Street, on the west by Bluff Street, on the south by West 6th Street, and on the east by Locust Street.

My Commentary:
This is one of the many Boy Scout of America Statue of Liberties that celebrated the organizations 50th anniversary. This one is unusual as it has two plaques on it - the normal BSA plaque and another dedication plaque. This statue is located on the east side of the square and is on just a pedestal - no surrounding brickwork or landscaping.
Copper sheet replica, 8 1/2 ft. tall, of the Statue of Liberty, placed in this public place (and 200 others) by the Boy Scouts in Liberty-loving 1950.
