About Herenboren Goedentijd
"Since the farm was operational (2019), the number of registrations has doubled in one year from 250 to 500 mouths. But you also have to be able to feed those mouths. Now we have 55 crops and 50 types of trees on our property. We have chickens and pigs and the first calves of our cows have been born. In such a short time we made a switch from maize field to farm. That's fantastic to see."
About picking the crops:
"We collect the harvest from the farm every week. From the point of view of sustainability and convenience, we have created Herenburen: members are (if they want to) divided into groups by zip code, so together with Herenboeren who live in their area. In this way they can take turns picking up the harvest for each other, and not everyone has to drive to Alphen every week. That works very well and is still fun"
