Une procession entre les églises Saint-Jean-Baptiste et Saint-Charles, et une cérémonie de passation des offices de la confrérie San Carlu étaient organisées pendant la matinée de ce samedi 4 novembre pour fêter solennellement la réouverture au public de l'édifice religieux.
En milieu de journée, un "spuntinu" avec les fidèles a été l'occasion d'échanger autour du rôle concret des confréries en Corse, qui affirment avoir aujourd'hui, au-delà de leur fonction symbolique, une fonction sociale.

Reopening of the Saint-Charles church in Bastia
A procession between the churches of Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Saint-Charles, and a ceremony of handing over the offices of the San Carlu brotherhood were organised during the morning of Saturday 4 November to solemnly celebrate the reopening to the public of the religious building.
In the middle of the day, a "spuntinu" with the faithful was the occasion to discuss the concrete role of the brotherhoods in Corsica, which claim to have today, beyond their symbolic function, a social function.
