This is the same kind of counter you'll find at a typical Dunkin' location, just inside the Petro truck stop, and as of this posting, they're open daily from 4 AM to 4 PM. Service is very good, but as always, arrive early to get the best selection. There's no drive thru, there's no wi-fi, but you have your pick of whatever the Petro is offering, including the rest rooms.
While the mailing address is Hillsboro, you're in Carl's Corner, with a population approaching 200. However, this is really all there is here besides the residences. Carl's Corner was established in the 1980s by Carl Cornelius to provide an oasis to get around dry county laws. He invited a friend, Willie Nelson, to perform concerts on the grounds behind the building, and Nelson's "BioWillie" biodiesel was available here and heavily advertised along I-35. In 2005, this became "Willie's Place", which added a restaurant and a concert theater (with a bar and dance floor), and it was a popular event venue until it closed in 2011.
