The B & O Railroad Depot, Mount Airy was completed in 1882. Following the decline in rail traffic, the depot was abandoned, and has undergone a sensitive rehabilitation for reuse.

The B & O Railroad Depot is a contributing building the Mount Airy Historic District. The Nomination Form Page 3 states:
"The focal point of the commercial center is the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad depot located on the east side of the North Main Street, adjoining the tracks on the north; this rectangular one-store brick building with a broad overhanging gable roof was completed in 1882 n the third expansion of a facility which had been established in 1838. Following the recent decline in rail traffic, the depot was abandoned, and was recently undergone a sensitive rehabilitation for reuse as a medical office."
