The Glory sculpture is located on the campus of the Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. The stainless sculpture was created by Bruce Niemi in 2021.
About the sculpture:
“…Glory was made by Bruce Niemi of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The piece is made of stainless steel and stands over 15 feet tall. There are benches surrounding the installation area for those in the community to sit and view the piece of public art.
During the unveiling, Niemi described his interpretation of the piece, which consists of four interwoven pieces of steel in the shape of sevens. Niemi said the pieces represent the Trinity of Christian faith and a person’s faith.
He said the two larger pieces that connect to the base of the sculpture represent the Father and the Son. One of the smaller pieces is to represent the Holy Spirit, while the other represents a person whose faith is interwoven with the aspects of the Trinity…”
