BE / F Le Jardin zoologique tropical a été créé en 1989 sur la commune de La Londe les Maures et situé entre Toulon et Saint Tropez sur le bord de la route nationale 98. Ancien Arboretum,ce Parc bénéficie d’une flore remarquable composée d’eucalyptus,de mimosas, de plantes grasses et de différentes espèces de plantes tropicales qui s’épanouissent grâce au climat doux et ensoleillé de notre région. La collection animale est incomparable par la rareté des espèces qui sont présentées aux visiteurs. Le Jardin zoologique tropical de La Londe les maures est un lieu de détente et de découverte. Nous serons heureux de vous y accueillir.

La mission essentielle des zoos est la sauvegarde des espèces animales en voie de disparition dans leur habitat naturel en conservant et reproduisant les animaux les plus exposés à leur raréfaction dans les meilleures conditions possibles.Le zoo est l’endroit idéal pour prendre conscience de la nécessité de préserver les espèces animales les plus en danger. A cet effet,des plans d’élevage européens ont été mis en place entre de nombreux zoos, afin de gérer les populations animales dans les parcs zoologiques,en particulier pour les espèces les plus rares dans la nature et menacés de disparition.

La plupart des animaux du Jardin Zoologique Tropical sont menacés. Notre Espace est dédié à la découverte d’espèces menacées mais également à l’acclimatation et à la reproduction de ces dernières. Notre rôle est également de sensibiliser les enfants et les adultes à la protection de l’environnement et à la fragilité de son équilibre.


UK / US The Tropical Zoological Garden was created in 1989 in the town of La Londe les Maures and located between Toulon and Saint Tropez on the edge of the national road 98. Former Arboretum, this Park benefits from a remarkable flora composed of eucalyptus, mimosas, succulents and different species of tropical plants that thrive thanks to the mild and sunny climate of our region. The animal collection is incomparable by the rarity of the species which are presented to visitors. The tropical zoological garden of La Londe les maures is a place of relaxation and discovery. We will be happy to welcome you there.

The essential mission of zoos is the safeguard of endangered animal species in their natural habitat by conserving and reproducing the animals most exposed to their rarefaction in the best possible conditions.The zoo is the ideal place to become aware of the need to preserve the most endangered animal species. To this end, European breeding plans have been put in place between many zoos, in order to manage animal populations in zoological parks, in particular for the rarest species in nature and threatened with extinction.

Most of the animals in the Tropical Zoological Garden are threatened. Our Space is dedicated to the discovery of endangered species but also to their acclimatization and reproduction. Our role is also to make children and adults aware of the protection of the environment and the fragility of its balance.
