1493J is an Iron pipe with a brass cap, standing just above the ground along the north side of Highway 3, just south of a barbed wire fence. Just to the northeast is a blue witness post. The two are about 32 metres southeast of Johnstone Creek Road, which runs north off Highway 3 to Conkle Lake. Fairly close to the highway, this is yet another quick and easy benchmark find.
