"Im Jahr 2002 erhielt die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern bei Bad Feilnbach die Möglichkeit, eine frühere Trafo-Station zu einem Fledermaushotel umzubauen. Die Trafostation ist außen mit Holz verkleidet worden, damit Spalten bewohnende Fledermäuse neuen Lebensraum erhalten. Ebenso sind Zugänge ins Innere für Fledermäuse nutzbar gemacht worden. Eine Infotafel zum Fledermausschutz befindet sich gegenüber der Station am Parkplatz." (visit link)

In 2002, the Wildland Foundation Bavaria was given the opportunity to convert a former transformer station, near Bad Feilnbach, into a bat hotel. The transformer station has been clad with wood on the outside so that bats that inhabit crevices receive new living space. Entrances to the interior have also been made usable for bats. An information board for bat protection is located opposite the station at the parking lot.
