Located in a small shopping complex in South Fort Myers is an authentic British style Fish and Chips shop. Offering fish and chips as their main menu items they do offer other choices for the non-fish and chip lovers. The fish is beer battered cod made fresh and never frozen along with hand cut chips. Served with coleslaw, roll and butter. Condiments include tarter sauce and malt vinegar. And not just any malt vinegar, but imported from England, Sarson's Malt Vinegar.

Opened by John Natanni and his father-in-law, John Norton the fish and chip shop has been serving South Fort Myers for 7 years, with a second location in North Fort Myers. The shop has nine tables that seat 4 so there is plenty of inside seating.

They also have a freezer with frozen Cameron's products such as Shepherd's pies, Big Ben Bangers, Danish Pork Back Bacon, Cameron's meat pies, Lorne Sliced Beef Loaf Patties, Square Sausage, Steak and Haggis, Scottish Style M & C pies, and other items that you can purchase and take home to prepare.

A modest selection of British beer and ales was available and a nice selection of British candies and sweets. We ordered the 'King' sized fish and chips and it filled a large serving basket. Another nice touch was the music played while dining was all brit, including Sting, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Queen, etc.

Open Tuesday thru Saturday 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, closed Sunday and Monday.
Dine-in or take out available.

More about the owners:

"John Norton was born and raised in Bournemouth, England. At age 16 he joined the British Merchant Marine where he worked as a steward for five years. After his service, John married and immigrated to the United States to settle down in Connecticut where he worked as a waiter for another five years. His first role as a manager was a Little Mill Country Club in Medford, New Jersey responsible for food concession. Shortly after, he opened the Corral, a country western bar in Mount Holly, New Jersey. From there John opened The Old Columbus Inn located in Columbus, New Jersey, a quiet, elegant, American cuisine type of venue. During his years in the food industry, John also owned and operated a pizza shop, a food cart, a catering business and an ice cream truck."

"John retired about 8 years ago to North Fort Myers. However, while John did enjoy vacationing for months at a time in Thailand, he was coerced out of retirement by his son-in-law John Natanni to open an authentic British Fish and Chips shop."

"John Natanni is from Marlton, New Jersey, spending his entire working career managing for three large retailers and is excited to partner with his father-in-law. Together the created OK UK British Fish and Chips and they know you'll enjoy it.!! " (copied from take out menu dated June 2021)
