"Ten years, almost to the day, after the crash, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, of a Puma helicopter of the 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment (RHC) of Pau, the small town of Wimille (Pas-de-Calais), near Boulogne-sur-Mer, decided to pay tribute to one of the victims.

An officer and two non-commissioned officers, including a woman, were killed on April 18, 2006, after (apparently) the aircraft struck the cable of an ONF cable car on the side of the Capet, located between the towns of Sers and Barèges.

Place de la Gare in Wimille will be renamed Place Emmanuel-Vanhoutte. A native of the commune, the adjutant nicknamed "Flying Manu" was the youngest of the victims (33 years old)."
