In the Norwegian Aviation Museum, there is both military and civil aviation history on a 10,000 square meter area. It is Norway's National Aviation Museum and the largest in the Nordic region.
It was inaugurated by King Harald V on May 15, 1994 and is visited annually by many thousands, both children and adults.
In addition to seeing the many different aircraft, one can also try to be a pilot in flight simulator at Newton Flight Academy.
Throughout the year there are different special exhibitions just as there are different lectures. The museum offers guided tours for groups.
