This bronze plaque is mounted on the south brick wall to the former auditorium/gymnasium at Lincoln Elementary School. It honors Peggy Sue Carmichael (7/10/1943 - 1/5/2001)who taught music here for 18 years. She was laid to rest in nearby Fairlawn Cemetery.

The plaque reads:
