This limestone marker is located on the western grounds of the Cooper County Courthouse. This is a three foot marker topped by a carved eagle. The eagle is approximately a foot tall, wings spread, roosting on the plinth. Below the eagle is an anchor and a spear with a banner furled around the shaft. The inscription:
