The camel is more important animal.in Canary Islands.
Camels were the transport in Lanzarote for wood, potable water that came of other island, for agricultural jobs, etc.
Camels of Lanzarote has legs shorter than camels of Sahara or Egipt, and were (and are now) good because are very strong.
