Keremeos Keremeos' Municipal Hall, AKA the Town Hall, can be found just south of the Crowsnest Highway as it meanders through town. On 4th Street, the Municipal Hall is opposite Memorial Park, the major park in the village, with most of its recreational facilities.

In front of the Municipal Hall, just off the street, one may find this small single bottom plough. It is apparent that this plough was designed to be pulled behind a tractor, not a horse. I say that partly because of the size and weight of the plough and partly because of the trailing wheel and the mechanism designed to raise and lower it, thereby raising and lowering the plough share.

It appears that the plough's trailing wheel was intended to be raised by the pull of a rope and either another pull on the same rope or a pull on a second rope to lower it. It's really not apparent how all that is accomplished without a much closer look at the mechanism; hence it is left as a bit of an enigma. It may be that there is at least one piece missing.

I didn't find any maker's marks on the plough, so its history and lineage shall remain a mystery, as well.
