While there are a dozen of Mother Nature's representatives (as of this posting) to greet you as you walk the trail, there are only three -- a coyote, an armadillo and a bobcat -- noting the name of the sculptor, Karmien Bowman, so it's likely that the beaver was not her work. It was likely placed in 2019 or later.
The beaver is lifelike and life-sized, looking alert, cast in bronze, and secured to a rock in the waterfalls by several metal strips. Its tail is tucked underneath, protruding under its belly, and its front feet are close together. Note the patina developing on the webbed hind feet and tail. If there is an artist's signature, it would require going into the water and inspecting the sculpture. Don't do that.
