The fishing town of Skarsvåg has decorated their welcome sign with sailors and anchors. Skarsvåg is the northernmost fishing village in the world, which they advertise on another sign.
There are about 60 inhabitants in Skarsvåg. A number of tourists visit the village in connection with their visit to the North Cape.
Cods and King crabs are something that is fished here, and it is also served in the village's only café.
