Fort St. John is the largest city in Northeastern B.C. and situated along the world-famous Alaska Highway at Mile 47. It currently has approximately 21,000 residents. Fort St. John is the oldest non-native settlement in British Columbia, as well as being one of the oldest native settlements.

"The Pomeroy Sport Centre features 2 NHL sized ice rinks, 12 dressing rooms, a public meeting room, skate sharpening vendor, a concession stand, Booster Juice outlet, meeting room, and a Olympic-sized long track speed skating oval. Additionally the centre has 60,000 square feet of usable space when the ice isn’t being used.

On the 3rd floor is the Northern Vac Track which is a 340 meter walking track. The track is free to use for the public."

The Information Centre is on the main floor just as you enter the Pomeroy Sport Centre. There is local and regional information available as well as sportswear. On the third floor are many display cases with sport memorabilia.
