This two lion statues are on a balcony of the Council building o Ferrol.
The current Municipal Palace was inaugurated on September 14, 1953, with José Manuel Alcántara Rocafort being mayor and is located in the Plaza de Armas. Its construction led to the transfer from the previous building, located in the Canton of Molins, which was later demolished.
