Hive Appeal painted a beautiful mural of the state's wildflower (Indian Blanket) on a water tower on Rt. 66. The water tower and mural is next to the Rock Creek Bridge, a historic bridge built in 1921 to serve the Ozark Trail.

The mural is about 70 feet tall, and is painted on the Rt. 66 side of the water tower (approximately southwest side). The city has removed all the growth that would have obscured the view, and this is now an encouraged selfie spot/photo op for visitors on Rt. 66.

Vibrant, bold colors are used in the mural: orange, yellow, white, green brown. The bottom 2/3 of the flower are shown, cut off at the top of the tower. The words "Historic Route 66 * Sapulpa, OK" are written in yellow at the top border of the water tower.
