According to an article in the Archbold Buckeye, Archbold, OH's local paper, Lange's Bakery has been sold by Tim Lange to Archbold native Jacob Thatcher. "Thatcher said Lange is a family friend. When he learned Lange was interested in selling the long-time Archbold business, he approached him about it."

"Thatcher said he worked in the bakery for about a year to learn the business. The bakery employs five people. Thatcher said he is enjoying the work."

My wife and I stopped in as part of a Poker Run for the Midwest Geobash. Did we have to buy anything? No, but come on. Small town baker ... donuts ... muffins. We were not disappointed. We had muffins for breakfast the next two mornings.
