A plaque at the base of this man-made waterfall in Government Springs Park indicates that it was constructed in 2004 to celebrate the centennial of the oldest park in Enid. This location was a popular watering hole on the Chisholm Trail and was established as a park well before Oklahoma became a state. The plaque also lists contributors and names the designer of the waterfall.
