Kamloops Fire Rescue crews work hard to protect residents from wildfires within the City. Often wildland fires occur along side major highways.

Please consider a few things.

1) Slow down! Crews are focused on the tasks associated with fire suppression and need you to slow down and be aware of personnel on the roadways.

2) Please don't drive over our hoses.

3) Concentrate on the road. Obviously people want to take pictures or observe the fire, but please do not lose focus on the road.

Firefighters from the Kamloops Fire Rescue units are battling out of control wildfires that are plaquing the district. They need your cooperation.

Kamloops Fire Rescue Station No.3 was built in 1979. It is one of 7 fire stations in Kamloops. Kamloops annexed several neighbouring communities, bringing a number of area volunteer fire departments into the Kamloops Fire Department. Station 3 was formally the Valleyview Volunteer Fire Department amalgamated in 1973 and the Station 3 firehall was built.

Kamloops Fire Rescue Station No.3 has three bay doors with a one story attached building that accommodates a training room, kitchen, offices and rest area.
