"The N.V. United Blikfabrieken (Verblifa) celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1963. Because of the location in Krommenie, the Board of Directors donated the figurine Flute player and girl to Agathe Park on the occasion of this anniversary; it was given a spot opposite the bandstand.

The statue was made by Gerarda Rueter (1904-1993)"
