Most disguised cell towers look like trees - albeit, sad trees - but this one is located near a walking trail in a desert area.
With the advent of cell towers, people started complaining about the unsightly towers. So an environmentally aesthetic tower design came to be.
Cell towers being disguised as trees, also known as clean solution masts, is the brainchild (co-inventor) of South African telecommunications engineer Ivo Lazic, and is now used worldwide to hide these unsightly towers.
