One old cast iron cannon (and half of the other) placed in front of the Church of St. Peter in Jaffa. The cannons were imported by the Ottoman government in the early 18th century, stood on the walls to protect Jaffa from Bedouin raids on land and pirates by sea. Cannons were found during excavations in the port of Jaffa.
