The pulpit is inside this historic church. The church itself is over 100 years old. The pulpit is made of a dark wood and has a wooden canopy. On the façade of the pulpit is a shield with IHS which stands for Jesus. In the middle is the Portuguese shield, with the five blue shields to represent the 5 Moorish kings that King Alfonso of Portugal defeated. The pulpit is located near the church's main alter and is sometimes used by the pastor. The church has daily mass and weekend mass in Portuguese.
