While on holidays, I encountered this fine piece of woodcarving in a front lawn. The wood carving is appprox 1.5 meters high. The first 50 centimeters are the pedestal which the dog sits on. The top part / the dog has been painted. My personal opinion was the dog looked very realistic (Swiss White Shepherd). I assume it is a statue of the owners dog. Thought you might enjoy it as well.
