Alcove Springs Park is north of Blue Rapids and south of Marysville, about mid way between them. Alcove Spring was an important stop on the Oregon Trail, and the park's trail system takes you there, to a water crossing, and to historic camp sites. The trails are clearly marked and you will encounter several historical markers along the way. A brochure and trail guide is available at the waymark coordinates. The Park is on the National Register of Historic Places.
