This dome can be admired inside Villa Planta. Villa Planta is nowadays part of the Bündner art museum of Chur.
An impressive metal dome in the ancient Villa Planta. It is very symmetric and only with drawings, so no figures of animals or persons. No images of anything recognizable either.
It has 8 identical parts (like pie parts) coming together at one point.
It is a Byzantine dome over the central atrium.

About Villa Planta:
Villa Planta, named after the builder Jacques Ambrosius von Planta, was built in 1874–1875 by the architect Johannes Ludwig as a private residence. In 1898 Jacques Ambrosius von Planta sold the villa to the Rhaetian Railway, which from 1919 rented it to the canton of Graubünden for cultural purposes.
