This memorial is an action grouping of two soldiers arranged on a rock on top of a plinth.

The soldiers are carved in marble and are posed to portray them in action during the war.
One soldier is injured, laying back on the rock with his rifle beside him. The other soldier is looking around, perhaps trying to spot the enemy. He has rifle in one hand and is passing something to the soldier on the ground.
There is an inscription on the plinth of the statue.
