The Column, known as Monumento Gloria Imortal aos Fundadores de Sao Paulo is a homage to the founders of the City of Sao Paolo....an event which happened here. The column is topped by a sculpture depicting a woman with arms outstretched in triumph. Unfortuantely, the poster of this Waymark could not find information online about the artist or date.
