The monastery of San Martín de Xuvia, popularly known as do Couto, is the most representative monument of Narón and a good example of Galician Romanesque art. It was built in the 12th century, although its portico and the tower on the façade are from the 18th century.
In 1972 was BIC in Spanish Heritage.
The white tower has two bodies and the small one has 3 bells. Each body has four round pinnacles at the corners. It ends on top of everything in a small dome and a metallic cross.
