Barkåkra church.
This church was built in the 12th century but was rebuilt in around 1800.
The foundations is made of granite.
The walls are made of red bricks that have been plastered with white lime.
There are 2 bells in the tower small bell from 1786 made by Abra Malmberg and big bell from 1643 made by Hans Meyer in Helsingør.
The pulpit is made of oak probably between 1648 and 1658 because the initials F and S that's carved under the pulpit crown.
The initials stand for queen Sofie Amalie who was married to the Danish king Fredrik den III who ruled Skåne at that time.
The baptismal font is from 1941 made by Anders Jönsson and is made of limestone.
The organ was built in 1992 by Tostareds kyrkorgelfabrik
