DE: In dem kleinen Gebäude an der Straße Gehrn 7c im Schleswig-Holsteinischem Ort Wacken wird seit dem Jahr 2010 Kaffee geröstet. Hauptsächlich werden fair gehandelte Kaffees der Sorte Arabica aus Guatemala und Nicaragua für die Röstung im Luftstrom (mit einer Anlage von Novoroster) oder dem 5kg-Trommelröster verwendet. Bis zum August 2013 wurde der Kaffee ausschließlich über das Internet oder bei Schauröstungen auf dem W:O:A in kleinen Mengen verkauft, aber pünktlich zum Festivalstart im Jahr 2013 konnte dann das kleine Cafe eingeweiht werden.
Seitdem werden hier verschiedene Kaffeespezialitäten mit den selbst gerösteten Bohnen serviert, dazu kann selbstgebackener Kuchen verzehrt werden. Im kleinen Innenraum und aussen auf der rustikalen Terasse haben jeweils etwa 20 Personen Platz. Geöffnet hat das Cafe Freitags bis Sonntags jeweils von 14 Uhr bis 19 Uhr.

EN: Coffee has been roasted in the small building on Gehrn 7c in the Schleswig-Holstein town of Wacken since 2010. Fairtrade coffees of the Arabica variety from Guatemala and Nicaragua are mainly used for roasting in an air stream (with a Novoroster system) or the 5kg drum roaster. Up until August 2013, coffee was only sold in small quantities over the Internet or at show roasts at the W:O:A, but the small cafe was inaugurated just in time for the start of the festival in 2013.
Since then, various coffee specialties have been served here with the home-roasted beans, and home-baked cakes can also be eaten. There is space for around 20 people each in the small interior and outside on the rustic terrace. The cafe is open from Friday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
