This new outdoor public art by Joe Slack is on a wall at the northwest side of the Edmond Library. Knowledge Tree is the title, showing heads with knowledge. It is at the north end of the library material drop-off drive.
The piece is 15 feet wide, and 6 feet high. Nine metal heads, each with a yellow round gear at the brain, are on the brick wall, with the largest at the center. Green rods collect the heads to all the surrounding ones. Each piece varies in size, from one foot square to two feet x four feet. The heads are each surrounded by a series of cut-out shapes, anywhere from a dozen to twenty.
