A substantial stone bench dedicated to Betty Davenport is at the east side of First Baptist Church in Wickford, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The rough cut granite slab is about six feet long, two feet wide, and 18 inches thick. The seat rests on two low legs, also stone. Relaxing visitors face the church parking lot - a great place to meet and greet congregants. A cast bronze plaque is adhered at the center of the seat along the back edge of the top and reads:
