The Portage Lake Boating Access Site is located on the southern edge of Portage Lake off of Silver Street. There are 2 concrete launch ramps, 31 parking spaces, and a pit toilet. It has separate ready-to-launch and tie-down lanes.
The site is maintained by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and requires a Recreation Passport to use the launch.
